About Bonnie Mohr Jan

Picture
Bonnie learned her most valuable lessons not in law school, but in karate. Although its been years since Bonnie threw a kick or punch in a match, the lessons of focus, discipline and timing still ring true in and out of the dojo.

Focus. Focus in a matrimonial or family action is critical. It is so easy to get sidelined by the personal issues of the moment - the tit-for-tat. Keep your eye on the bigger picture and let's work on a long-term resolution that minimizes conflict.

Discipline. Remaining disciplined during the divorce or family court action is difficult; especially when the other side has ignored all the deadlines and tried all his or her little digs to get under your skin. By remaining disciplined on your case, we'll keep better focus on the true goals.

Timing. As they say, timing is everything. And sometimes, there is no good time. Sometimes you just have to pick the time that makes the most sense or makes for the least difficulty.

If you are interested in mediation, Bonnie brings her skills of impartiality to the mediation table. Bonnie has had years of experience in judging and refereeing matches in the dojo and in tournaments.
