You'll also find Bonnie working with clients to resolve cases through mediation as a mediator, a consultation attorney (helps you during the mediation process) or a review attorney (helps you after you agreed to terms reached in mediation and before you sign the settlement agreement).
Bonnie is a 2003 graduate of New York Law School and a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, New York Women's Bar Association and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Bonnie has served as a circle leader with the matrimonial/family law Mentoring Circle with the City Bar, the Matrimonial Committee with the City Bar and the Civil Practice Law and Rules Committee with the State Bar Association. Bonnie has presented at the Greater New York Dental Convention and the Attorney Accountant Networking Group. Bonnie also authored chapters in Onward and Upward: Guide for Getting Through New York Divorce and Family Law Issues. Bonnie has been recognized as a Superlawyer in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Kenyon Leggett received his law degree from the City University of New York. Before becoming a lawyer, Kenyon had a career with the NYPD as a police officer and was promoted to Lieutenant in the Forensics Laboratory. Kenyon brings his passions for families, perspective from his NYPD experience and attention to procedure and detail to represent changing families in and out of the courtroom. Kenyon is admitted to practice in the State of New York.

While this is Jonathan’s first foray in the field of law, he has risen to the challenge; both in adapting his skills in a new environment and as a team player at our fast-paced, client-focused law firm.
In his leisure hours, Jonathan's favorite pastimes movie marathons and competitive gaming. Before joining our team, he garnered valuable experience as a customer service representative and roadside assistance, experiences that have endowed him with the adaptability and adept problem-solving skills that will unquestionably prove advantageous to our clients here at BMJ Law.
