Bonnie Mohr Jan

You won't find Bonnie in the dojo any longer. Now she has all of her battles in the courtroom or in negotiations or with her two young toddlers. You'll also find Bonnie working with clients to resolve cases through mediation as a mediator, a consultation attorney (helps you during the mediation process) or a review attorney (helps you after you agreed to terms reached in mediation and before you sign the settlement agreement). 

Bonnie is a 2003 graduate of New York Law School and a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, New York Women's Bar Association and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Bonnie has served as a circle leader with the matrimonial/family law Mentoring Circle with the City Bar, the Matrimonial Committee with the City Bar and the Civil Practice Law and Rules Committee with the State Bar Association. Bonnie has presented at the Greater New York Dental Convention and the Attorney Accountant Networking Group. Bonnie also authored chapters in Onward and Upward: Guide for Getting Through New York Divorce and Family Law Issues. Catrina Young, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Catrina is a dedicated and accomplished Associate Attorney focusing their practice on all aspects of Family and Matrimonial Law.  With dedicated experience in the field, Catrina offers comprehensive legal counsel, skilled representation in litigation, and thoughtful guidance through complex, sensitive personal matters.
Catrina’s experience is deeply rooted in the practical application of family law. Prior to joining the firm, Catrina maintained a successful practice as a Solo Practitioner, where they skillfully managed a full caseload of family law matters, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and client commitment.
Catrina earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) in May 2020 from Albany Law School of Union University in Albany, NY.
​ During law school, Catrina was highly active in leadership roles, serving as Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association, Co-chair of the Women’s Law Caucus, and Vice President of the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA). They also demonstrated strong advocacy skills by winning the Donna Jo Morse Moot Court Client Counseling Competition.
Catrina holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a dual major in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York, where they graduated in 2017.

Jason W. Cohen, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Jason W. Cohen, Esq. has recently joined the firm! Jason’s legal experiences have focused on matrimonial and family law matters in both private and non-profit sectors, including serving as a staff attorney at Sanctuary for Families, New York’s largest agency supporting victims of gender-based abuse. While in law school, Jason served as an extern in the chambers of the Honorable Jeffrey A. Goodstein, Matrimonial Supervisor of Nassau County. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jason established himself as a media executive, managing multi-million-dollar projects that were produced throughout the world.

Having experienced his own divorce, Jason naturally connects to his clients with empathy and respect. Jason blends his unique corporate and legal skills, along with his life experiences, to help clients achieve their legal goals, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution methods.

Dylan is a dedicated law clerk specializing in family law matters and is recognized as a certified mediation expert. With a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach, he is committed to helping individuals navigate the often challenging and emotional times in their lives.
A graduate of New England Law | Boston, Dylan gained hands-on experience in Family law through legal aid work and law school clinics, where he assisted clients with issues ranging from custody disputes to divorce proceedings.
​ His passion for family law and mediation stems from personal experiences with friends and loved ones facing similar struggles, which continue to inspire his empathy and dedication to making a meaningful difference.
Known for his excellent listening skills and thoughtful, detail-oriented approach, Dylan strives to ensure that every client feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout the legal process.  As a certified mediation expert and a member of the mediation council, Dylan believes that mediation can be a valuable tool for resolving conflicts amicably and actively encourages clients to consider this approach when appropriate.
Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new coffee spots and discovering new music.

Meet Celene Cardenas, our latest addition to the firm serving as our case manager. Celene is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science at Hofstra University, with aspirations of furthering her education in law. Her acute attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and positive approach significantly enrich our team dynamics.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Celene aids in the meticulous gathering of documentation, conducts thorough document reviews, skillfully tracks down crucial information, coordinates meetings and court dates, handles filing processes with the court, and proficiently organizes exhibits. Celene embodies a true team player and compassionate individual, ensuring a supportive and efficient experience for our clients.
